You’ll land on a voter guide with information about everything on your ballot for your precinct. This is a voter guide for people who live in Oldsmar, where there is a municipal election in August. Registered Democrats in Oldsmar may also vote in the Democratic Primary for U.S. Congressional District 13. All Oldsmar voters may vote in the race for the School Board District 4 seat.

All Florida Democrats may vote in the U.S. Senate Democratic August Primary, so this race will appear on the ballot for all Pinellas Democrats.
Pinellas Democrats living in U.S. Congressional District 13 (currently represented by Republican Anna Paulina Luna), may vote in the Democratic Primary for that seat.
In five Pinellas County precincts (Precincts 142, 216, 220, 231, and 527), Democrats may also vote for a Democratic Party Precinct Committeeman and/or Precinct Committeewoman.
The second part of the Voter Guide provides information about universal elections and nonpartisan elections. You can vote in these elections regardless of your party affiliation. This section is a slate card, listing candidates we have identified as most closely aligned with our values.
All candidates running for Supervisor of Elections are Republicans, so rather than a partisan Republican Primary this is a Universal Primary. That means that all Pinellas County voters, regardless of party affiliation, can vote in this Primary election. The candidate who receives the most votes will be the winner, and the race will not appear on the November General Election ballot.
Candidate party affiliation is not listed on the ballot for Circuit Judge. For each Circuit Judge election, Voter Action Pinellas lists the candidate most closely aligned with our values. This is based solely on publicly available information about each candidates' affiliation with political parties and other partisan groups. The School Board District 1 seat is an “At Large” seat, which means that all Pinellas voters will vote in the election for that seat. The District 4 and District 5 School Board seats are “Single Member” seats, so only voters who live in those Districts vote in those elections. In August there are municipal elections in St. Pete Beach, Oldsmar, Tarpon Springs, and St. Petersburg.
There are special elections in St. Pete Beach, Oldsmar, and Tarpon Springs. In each of these elections, there is a Democrat running against either a Republican, or a No Party Affiliation candidate. So, in each of those races we've just listed the Democrat.
There are primary races for City Council in two St. Petersburg City Council Districts: District 3 and District 7. Only voters who live in these Districts can vote in these races. Party affiliation is not listed on the ballot. For your information, we are listing every Democrat on the ballot in each of these races. Voter Action Pinellas does not endorse a candidate in either of these races, but we encourage you to make a choice and share it with your friends and family.
All Pinellas Voters may vote on an extension of an Ad Valorem Tax exemption for new businesses and existing expanding businesses that are expected to create new, full-time jobs in Pinellas County. This extension was unanimously approved by the County Commission, and no groups have voiced opposition.
