How to Sign Up for a Mail Ballot
*To have a mail ballot mailed to you for the August 20, 2024 Election, you must sign up by 5 p.m. on August 8, 2024.
Mail ballots are not forwarded. If you want your mail ballot sent to a new address that is not your voting address, then you must submit a request using a Supervisor of Elections printed form (click HERE for the form), which you must manually sign and deliver to a Supervisor's office (email delivery is an option; see below for more information).

Call the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections at 727-464-VOTE (8683). The office is open Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, except on government holidays, and with extended hours during election season.

How to submit a mail ballot
Completing Your Mail Ballot
- Use a black pen to complete the ballot.
- Put only your ballot -- and no one else's ballot -- in your envelope. If there are multiple ballots in one envelope they won't be counted.
- Sign and date the envelope. Your signature on the envelope will be compared with the signature in your voter file to verify your identity.
- Include your phone number and email address in case there are questions.
Submitting Your Mail Ballot
Mail ballots must be RECEIVED at the Supervisor of Elections office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
- You can send your ballot via regular mail, using the postage prepaid envelope (be sure to mail it at least one week before Election Day).
- You can deliver your mail ballot in person to a Supervisor of Elections office up until 7pm on Election Day (click HERE for Supervisor of Elections office locations and opening hours; note that there are extended hours during election season).
- From August 10 to August 18, You may also deliver your mail ballot in person at other ballot drop locations at specified dates and hours (click HERE for a list of drop box locations and opening times).
Was Your Ballot Received?
Once the Supervisor's office begins counting ballots (about three weeks before Election Day), you can check online to confirm that your ballot was received. Click HERE to learn how. The confirmation will appear within two or three business days after the Supervisor receives your ballot.
